Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #478

Hello there and welcome to the flash briefing for Tuesday. It’s podcast day. And, I’ve got a really cool guest talking about some really cool technology today.

Just so you know, you can access the podcast at AlexainCanada.ca/81, and this technology is something that I think is quite revolutionary. It’s all about finding locations on our entire planet but instead of using addresses, using words.

And so, I have Giles Rhys Jones from the company, What3words, join me. He talks about this technology just in its own right, but then, of course, we dive into how voice technology is affecting the way locations can be found on planet earth.

It’s quite remarkable, and I was very, very excited to be able to speak with him, as you’ll probably hear in the podcast. So check it out, it’s at AlexainCanada.ca/81.

Now, the other thing I want to just give you a little hint now, this is episode 478. We are approaching a big, big milestone with the flash briefings. We are approaching 500.

And, when we hit 500, there is going to be a very special thing that you can participate in.

Voice Locations with What3Words

I’ll give you a couple of clues right now, and I’m purposely being a little bit cryptic about this because that’s going to be part of the fun. The clue is, there is going to be puzzles, and there is going to be prizes.

And, you’ll have the opportunity to listen in and see if you can figure out the clues that will reveal to you how to earn a prize. And, this is very exciting.

It’s something that I’m going to do basically to celebrate the 500th flash briefing, and also a way to thank some of the incredible people that have been on the podcast.
