Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #463
Hey there, it’s Teri Fisher with your flash briefing here for Monday. And, today I want to tell you about a new type of sonic branding that we are going to be using going forward for the Voice in Canada flash briefing.
Now, as you know, when the flash briefing started, you heard the little jingle, you heard the voice say, “She’s got skills”, and you can hear this music in the background.
Now after learning more about Sonic branding, and just how important this is. There’s also a lot of psychology that goes behind Sonic branding, and one of the things that I have learned, is that when we have a music bed playing in the background, like we have right now, although it adds to the branding, it may be taking away from the connection that you and I are making when I’m chatting with you through this flash briefing.
And so, in learning about the psychology behind sonic branding, I’ve decided that I’m going to from now on, have the jingle that we are used to, but then remove the music bed.
There’s also a lot of psychology that goes behind Sonic branding.

So that way, it’s just my voice only, and I believe from what I’ve learned, and I hope that you’ll find this, that it creates a more intimate connection between us, and that the information that I’m sharing with you really becomes the focus of the flash briefing, and that the music doesn’t take away from it.
And you may want to experiment with this as well, when it comes to your own sonic branding, for whatever brand, or business, or nonprofit that you have. So, I want to show you what it’s going to sound like. From now on, it’s going to sound something like this.
She’s got skills. Hello, it’s Teri Fisher with your flash briefing. And now, you can hear the jingle, but it’s just my voice and I’m hoping that you will find that that actually creates a little bit more of a connection between you and I when I’m speaking.
So, this is what is going forward. I’d love to hear your feedback on this. Send me a message on Twitter or on Facebook @DrTeriFisher or on the Facebook community group, you can access that at AlexainCanada.ca/Community. All right, talk to you soon.
