Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #553
Hey there. So, on Sundays, as you may know, I like to answer a question from the community. And, today I’m answering a question that came in a little while back from Stan. And Stan says, “I was recently in the United States and I bought a Alexa device. I hooked it up to my WiFi there with no problem. I’m back home in Canada now and it will not hook up to my WiFi here. What do I do?”
Well, the thing that comes to mind is likely that you are on a different WiFi network, because you’re in two different locations. So, this would be my first suggestion to you.
What you do is you go into your Alexa app, you click on your menu icon in the top left corner, and then you click on settings.
The thing that comes to mind is likely that you are on a different WiFi network.
Then you click on device settings and you choose the particular device that you’re trying to set up.
Then you will see WiFi network and you click change. At this point, you then simply follow the instructions on your screen, and hopefully, that will allow you to reset the device to then pair with your current WiFi network.
