Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #317
Happy New Year. Welcome to 2019. It’s Teri here and it’s great to have you here for the very first flash briefing episode of 2019. This is actually almost a full year now that we’ve been running the flash briefing. This is actually episode 317th flash briefing episode consecutively every single day. And, it is an absolute pleasure to be able to bring you these episodes.
Today, I have two quick little bits of information for you to start off the year. The first is that of course, today is the day that the podcast comes out. If you haven’t listened to our podcast before, they’re all available at AlexainCanada.ca/Podcast and today’s episode is episode 59, so you can access that at AlexainCanada.ca/59.
In this podcast episode, I have Harry Pappas come on, who is the founder and CEO of the IHA (Intelligent Health Association) And, he and I have been working closely to develop and create the health care stream of the Alexa conference, which is taking place very shortly. In fact, it is two weeks away. And, so we talk a little bit about the Alexa Conference in general.
We also talk a little bit more in detail about the stream that we have been working to create. And, I hope that you will be able to join us there. I will be speaking at the Alexa Conference doing a couple of talks, and I wanted to let you know specifically, that you will be able to catch the live stream talks, a couple of mine.
During this holiday season, there were tons of Echos, tons of Alexa devices that were sold, and we have had a tremendous influx in the number of people that have joined our Facebook community

One will be at VoiceFirstHealth.com/Live and the other one will be at AlexainCanada.ca/Live. And I actually have the agenda on there for you if you go to those two sites. And, it will be my pleasure to be able to be speaking, but also broadcasting these live for the very first time. I’m very excited to do that.
The other thing that I wanted to mention that, of course, during this holiday season, there were tons of Echos, tons of Alexa devices that were sold, and we have had a tremendous influx in the number of people that have joined our Facebook community at AlexainCanada.ca/Community.
And I want to welcome each and every one of you. If there’s anything that I can do to help you to navigate this world of smart speakers and to help you specifically with your Alexa device, then please let me know either through the Facebook group or reach out to me through the blog or Instagram or Twitter, whatever it may be.
I’d love to hear from you. So, have a great day. I wish you all the best for 2019 and we’re going to talk again tomorrow. Take care.
