Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #220
Alright, time for a little bit more news. Amazon is continuing to make its presence known in all different types of appliances and technology devices. And, the latest announcement comes from LG. Of course LG is well known for technology and particularly TVs and those sorts of things.
And, LG just recently announced that now globally, essentially, LG TVs are able to integrate the TV and the home entertainment set up with Amazon Alexa, and actually Google assistant as well.
So this is very, very exciting. Originally, well, not originally, but up until now, LG TVs were only compatible with Alexa in the United States, but now with this announcement, they say that they’re actually rolling out this functionality to seven new territories, which basically includes Australia, Canada, France, Germany, South Korea, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
So, it’s great. It’s just, you know, part of the connected voice first home.
There are rumors going around that Amazon is going to be launching a whole bunch of other devices with Alexa built in.
And if you heard the flash briefing from a few days ago, you know that there are rumors going around that Amazon is going to be launching a whole bunch of other devices with Alexa built in, including microwaves and smart speakers, different types of smart speakers, receivers and subwoofers, and so on, and as well they’re going to have an Alexa compatible gadget that goes in the car.
So, Amazon is on a mission and they seem to be doing a good job of getting everywhere, as is the goal with Alexa. So, I’d be curious. 2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
