Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #232
All right, with all the news and everything that’s been going on recently with Amazon, I still haven’t had a chance to record a flash briefing specifically about the new product that was launched now. A couple of weeks ago, the Echo Sub, and if you’re an audiophile and you love to listen to good quality sound when you’re listening to your music, then you might be interested in this. So the Echo Sub is basically a sub woofer that works with your Echo devices. Amazon just launched this, like I said just a couple of weeks ago. It will be released officially in Canada on October 11th, but it is available for preorder now and so what is it? It’s a 100 watt bass, a six inch woofer that you can then pair with one Echo or Echo Plus or 2 Echo and Echo pluses, if that’s a word, and that allows you to get right and left stereo sound with the sub woofer to give the deep bass that is often very hard to achieve when you’ve got very small speakers. It’s roughly 20 centimeters tall by 20 centimeters wide, give or take, and it comes in only one colour – comes in the charcoal, the darkest grey that the Echo devices come in. So if that’s an issue for you, that’s the only color that it comes in. Interestingly, I had a look at some of the pictures online. There’s no plug other than just the power adapter. So this is all done wirelessly. It communicates wirelessly with your Echo devices and I like that because there’s less wires all over the place, which I think can get kind of messy if you’ve got all these electronic devices. Anyway, I’m getting off track there.
If you’re an audiophile and you love to listen to good quality sound when you’re listening to your music, then you might be interested in this.

The price: the price of this device is $169.99. You can get it with two Echos so you get a sub and then two Echos and then it’s $329.97, but it does give you a discount of 100 bucks if you choose to buy it that way. So again, you can simply check that out by going through the website AlexaInCanada.ca/Amazon. And if you just type in Echo sub, you will find it without any problem. So enjoy. And we’ll have some more news tomorrow. Take care.
