Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #132

Alright, so it’s time for some more Easter Egg commands. Little surprises that are there strictly for your entertainment and as usual, some of them are good, some of them are a little corny, but I’ll let you be the judge of that. Here are some things that you can say to Alexa.

First of all, you can try saying, “Alexa, what is your cunning plan?” You can also get a little poetic and say, “Alexa, tell me a limerick” and in fact, Alexa can do better than that. You can ask Alexa for a specific topic when it comes to a limerick.

So you could say, “Alexa, tell me a hockey limerick” or something similar.

You can ask Alexa for a specific topic when it comes to a limerick.

And you could even try, given the fact that Canada Day is coming up, you might want to say, “Alexa, give me or tell me a Canada Day limerick” She can also tell you Haikus. So, “Alexa, read me a Haiku” or “Alexa, tell me a Haiku” And, just for fun you can ask, “Alexa, how old are you?”

And, here’s a little bit of trivia. Anybody out there know when Alexa’s birthday is? She does have a birthday, and if you simply ask her the question, “Alexa, when is your birthday?” She will tell you. If you know the answer, then send me a message on Twitter at @DrTeriFisher.

Let’s use the first one to answer the question. Alright. Talk to you soon.
