Hello, happy Friday and today I’ve got some more news for you. For those of you that use credit unions, you will be very interested to hear that for the first time, Alexa is now available to use to do your banking through a credit union. There was an article that just came out that shows or that states, that two credit unions in Canada, specifically Innovation Credit Union and Conexus Credit Union.

They’ve partnered up with a credit union service organization called Central 1, and they have created the voice interface, the technology, to enable customers to make payments, send money to vendors, transfer money between accounts, and check on their financial wellness just using the voice. So this is really, really interesting.

This first one comes out from a credit union, so that shows that credit unions are really trying to be innovative here and be on the forefront of the technology.

And, obviously one of the big questions with this is security. And, just to quote the article, it says here that this service has a high level of authentication and security measures built in, including an industry standard technology and voice biometric security measures that are provided by Amazon. So, obviously, this is huge.

This is a very, very important when you’re dealing with your financial wellness, but it’s very interesting as well. So, it’s there and, it’s just another example of how the voice technology truly is going to revolutionize everything that we do in our lives. So very exciting. If you are part of one of these credit unions, in particular, I’d encourage you to have a look, do a search for this, and, you’ll find some more information on it.
