Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #20
Hey there, so today I want to tell you about another feature or a little tip here that you can use to help get the most out of your device.
And this feature is all about using your Echo device as a Bluetooth speaker. So why might you want to do that?
Well say you have your iPhone with you and you want to play your music through the particularly the Echo device where it does have a quite a good speaker in it or you know, you want to use your phone, but use the Echo device as a speakerphone.
If you pair it through Bluetooth with your phone or with some other device, then you can actually use the Echo device as your speaker through bluetooth.
And it’s very, very easy to do this as well. I’ll just walk you through it right here, but basically what you do is, you again go into your your App on your phone.

Your Alexa App, you know what I’m talking about and then you click on the settings button, the menu button, the hamburger icon, and then the settings feature and once you’ve done that, you click on the device that you want to pair using Bluetooth.
So you know, and if you have a number of devices, select the one that you want to use. And then you’ll see close to the top it’s actually the second feature when I do it you’ll see a feature that says Bluetooth.
So you just click on that and then you’ll see a blue button that says pair new device. So you click that and now just make sure that when you do that, that the device that you want to prepare with your Echo device is in its Bluetooth pairing mode.
And then your Echo device will search and it will find it and it will pair. And once it’s done that, it’s now very easy to pair it and unpaired depending on what you want to do.
You simply give that command “Alexa, connect to my speaker” or “Alexa, connect or disconnect from my speaker” or “Alexa, connect to my phone”, or “Alexa, disconnect from my phone whatever you’re doing” and that’s it.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
