Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #514
Hey there, how are you doing? I hope you’re doing well. It’s Teri here with your flash briefing and today we get back to our regularly scheduled programming after an incredible two weeks with Crack the Code.
So today I want to tell you a little bit about some rumors that have been coming out from Amazon and Bloomberg reported this, you may remember that actually had a flash briefing where I spoke a little bit about a rumored Echo robot that was being developed.
Well, they’re actually two products that apparently Amazon is working on and the source of this information comes from some anonymous person who says that they have access to the actual product.
So you know, take that for what it’s worth, but here’s what’s going on.
There is a rumor going on that Amazon is creating a new sort of souped-up Echo device, which is going to house much better speakers in the currently available Echo devices have.
Amazon is creating an Alexa controlled robot.
So it’s going to have four tweeters and it’s even rumored that Amazon is plotting high fidelity music streaming to go along with this.
So essentially this product will be an Echo that has very, very high-quality audio for those audio files that love to listen to their music.
The second rumor, which I think is even more fascinating, is that Amazon is creating an Alexa controlled robot.
The code name currently is Vesta, and it’s hard to say when this is going to be released, but according to the sources, it says that Amazon is actually pulling engineers off other projects to work on this robot.
And the robot is rumored to be about waist height, so it’s not very small, it’s a reasonable size robot.
The idea behind this is that you’ll be able to control it using your voice through the Alexa voice service, and it will be able to go with you in your home to places where you don’t necessarily have access to Alexa or an Echo device.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
