Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #566

Alright there. Let’s have some fun today. It’s Saturday, Easter Egg command day. And, if you want to hear the previous 63 episodes of the Easter Egg commands, you go back to VoiceinCanada.ca, and you can find them all there.

So here we go, here are some fun things that you can say to Alexa. You can start off by saying, “Alexa, give me a round of applause”, and see what she says to that. It’s kind of fun.

Alright, another one that you can do is you can say, this is kind of interesting, you can actually use Alexa to learn about features.

So, this is actually quite functional, but you can ask things like, “Alexa, what’s the difference between drop-in and announcements?”

You can also say, “Alexa, what are routines?” And by the way, if you’re looking for a tutorial on routines, I should mention this.

You can actually use Alexa to learn about features.

If you go to the website, AlexainCanada.ca, under tutorials, you can find that there. I’ve got a complete tutorial about how to set up your own routines.

You can also say, “Alexa, what is your favorite word?” Which is kind of a funny one, and you’ll see what I mean by that. And I guess we’ll go with one more.

You can also, if you are a baseball fan, you can say, for example, “Alexa, what are the AL standings?” And at the time of this recording, there’s a Canadian team at the top there, or at least in the top four.

Alright, have a great day. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
