Alright, hope you’re having a great weekend. Let’s talk Easter Egg commands. Easter Egg commands, just fun things you can say to Alexa.
Some of these are actually a little bit useful to the ones I have today. And one again is strictly just for fun. If you want to hear all the other ones in the past, you just go to VoiceinCanada.ca.
Okay, let’s get to these things that you can say to Alexa, I’ll give you the two sort of useful ones, and then we’ll do the fun one. So the first useful one is if you are a Scrabble player, what you may or may not know is that Alexa can help you with scoring your words.
You simply say, “What is, for example, equalize worth in Scrabble?”, and she will tell you what that word is worth.
I’ll give you the two sort of useful ones, and then we’ll do the fun one.
Now, of course, it doesn’t take into double letter scores, triple word scores, and all that kind of stuff, but it gives you the base score and you can ask that for any word.
So there’s one. The next one is if you need to know the… I’m trying to say this out loud, I’m like, “I wonder when you would need to know this at home.”
But if you need to know the chemical symbol for any particular element, Alexa can help you out. You can just simply say, “Alexa, what is the chemical symbol for gold? What is it for carbon?”, or insert your favorite element into that question?
And now for some fun, you can say, “Alexa, tell me a summer joke.” And again, she’s got a bunch of these, so keep on asking them. Some of them made me laugh, some of them made me grown, but you can check them out. Alright?
