Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #4
All right, today let’s talk about a feature that was just released in Canada. It’s one of the ones that was most requested and just so you know, in order to access this feature, you do have to have the most recent version of the mobile App.
So make sure you download the App and then you will be able to set up multiple profiles.
So you can actually train Alexa to know your voice and other people in your home can train Alexa to know their voices.
And then Alexa can distinguish between you and know who is talking and access the appropriate account.
So the way you do this as like I said, update your app first and then when you go into your Alexa App, you’re going to click on the little menu icon, the hamburger icon in the top left.
You’re going to hit settings and then when you scroll down you’ll see an option that’s labeled at your voice.
So you can actually train Alexa to know your voice and other people in your home can train Alexa to know their voices.
You Click on that and you basically follow the instructions right there on the App. The apple get you to choose one of your Echo devices to use for this training and then it’s going to ask you to read a series of 10 statements.
And once that’s done, Alexa will know your voice. And once you have trained Alexa, now Alexa can send and play messages without asking who you are. You can shop for things with Alexa and Alexa won’t have to ask who you are.
So there’s a lot of stuff that you can do now just based on the fact that Alexa can identify you. You can even ask Alexa, who am I? And assuming everything has gone smoothly, she’ll be able to tell you your name.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
