Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #495
Hey there, hope you are doing well. It’s Friday and I’ve got a quick flash briefing for you today. And this really stems from a number of you people out there, AIC Nation, which by the way, I am using that term more and more. I love it.
People in the community have been asking me like, “How do we know when the app on the mobile device on the iPhone is updated?”
Meaning the Alexa app. And, here’s the deal. There isn’t really anywhere where you can check that out unless you go into the app, and look at your latest updates to see if it’s available.
What I want to try to do, if I can, is keep you updated on when you can update your app, are you still with me? Anyway, it turns out that there was a new release that was just put out, not too long ago on June 10th to be exact.
And so if you haven’t updated your Alexa app on your iPhone since June 10th, which would be probably the last two weeks, is probably worthwhile doing that because the update is there, and it has another bug fixes and some improvements.
So if you have noticed at any point that the app is not working quite right, then I encourage you for sure to update it through your iPhone.
It turns out that there was a new release that was just put out not too long ago.

Alright. Now, just before I sign off, I want to give one more quick shout out to the latest person that left a review for the flash briefing. It’s by a person who puts some initials there, SMAP.
And this person gave it five stars, wrote, “Excellent idea. Love to learn about features, tricks, Easter eggs to use with my Alexa devices. Very good podcast.”
Thank you very much. I really, really appreciate that. All of these reviews are very much appreciated and they do help with the flash briefing to be found, so thank you very much.
If anybody else would like to leave a review, it’s very much appreciated. Of course, you just go to VoiceinCanada.ca and you’ll see a red button in the middle of the screen, you just click on it and that’s it.
It takes you right to the site where you just type in a few words or phrases, so thanks very much. Alright, we are on episode 495. I’m getting more and more excited as these days go by about episode 500 coming up.
Here’s your first clue about what’s happening. Clues, I’ll leave it at that. That’s a little cryptic, but that’s the idea. Talk to you soon.
