Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #757

Hey there, Dr. Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing for Monday.

And alright, let’s address the big situation that’s going on right now.

Obviously Covid19 Coronavirus and I want to tell you about a skill that I’ve created that I hope will just take a little bit of pressure off the healthcare system.

And you may have heard about this before already, but I want to do a specific flash briefing about this because there’s just so much information and misinformation out there.

And so what I’ve done is I’ve created a new skill, it’s called Coronavirus Doc and you enable it the typical way and when you go into that you can get some information.

You can get some general information, you can get some symptom information, you can get some transmission, you can get some prevention information.

So, here’s the challenge and I’ll be perfectly honest with you.

My major source is the CDC and the WHO.

Coronavirus Doc Skill

Number one, things are changing so fast that it’s hard to keep it up to date.

And I am doing my best to keep it up to date, but know that whatever is in that skill is evidence based, meaning that it is coming from reputable sources.

My major source is the CDC and the WHO, the World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control but I am updating it as necessary.

And the second thing I need to tell you is obviously, you know, I have to give a disclaimer.

It is not a substitution for professional medical advice.

It is some general information and if it does help you in some way, that’s fantastic.

But if you do have any specific questions, obviously you can’t base your care off of that skill.

We’re not quite there with this technology yet. So check out with your doctor if you need to, alright?

I hope you’re doing well, take good care of yourselves, practice all the good safety precautions and if you want a little information, check out Coronavirus Doc, okay?

Thanks very much take care everybody, talk to you tomorrow.
