Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #575
Hey there. So, to start off this Monday, I’ve got a new product released from Amazon in Canada.
It’s actually on pre-order right now, or it’s available for pre-order, and it’s called the Fire TV cube.
So, what is it? Well, it’s a little cube and it works very much like the Fire TV stick.
So if you have a Fire TV stick, then you already have an idea of the functionality of this.
The difference, is that this has Alexa built in, it has microphones built in, it has speakers built in, so, you can talk to this as if you have an Echo device in your room, and you don’t necessarily need to use the remote that it does come with.
So you basically have the option of using the remote, or just speaking to the device, and of course, you can control lots of TV functions with this.

When you look at the specifications of this versus the Fire TV stick, with 4K definition, they really are similar.
The only difference is, that the Fire TV cube has the built in speaker, and has the far-field voice control of the Fire TV, meaning that you can talk to it, the microphones, and you can control other voices as well.
So, if you’re looking for a Alexa device that can also control your TV, that you can just speak to across the room without using a remote, then you may be very interested in checking out the Fire TV cube.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
