Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #572

Hey there, it’s Teri with your flash briefing for Friday. And today, I want to tell you about another article that I read about. And, it’s all about how Amazon is really trying to become the go to company when it comes to integration with your car.

There was a recent report that came up by Fast Company that featured Alexa integration with cars of the future.

So this is not here yet, but, basically Amazon has a demo car, and they’re showing off what Alexa potentially could do inside a vehicle.

And of course, you can do tasks like, audio streaming, messaging, voice calls, reminders, and so on.

But, what makes us a little more functional, more interesting, is that, there is actual integration with the functions of the car itself.

So for example, you can roll the windows up or down by speaking to Alexa, you can control the temperature and control your AC and heating in the car, just by using your voice, and so, obviously, this is a way that Amazon is really trying to get into the car as well.

You can roll the windows up or down by speaking to Alexa.

More Integration with Amazon Alexa in your Car

As you know, they do have the Echo Auto, which currently is only available in United States, but I’m sure that it won’t be long before this is available in Canada as well.

Would you want this? Would you want to be able to control your car systems, and the cabin temperature, and the windows, etc, by voice?

I think I would. I think it’d be cool. And it would allow you to potentially keep your eyes on the road a little bit more.

Alright, so, the other thing I want to mention, just before I sign off today, is again, the latest person that left the latest review for the Voice in Canada flash briefing. We are now up to 97 reviews in Canada. That’s incredible. We are so close to a hundred.

If anybody would like to leave a review and get us to a hundred, that would be amazing.

But I do want to give a shout out to Caitlin Vink. She wrote, “A good way to start the morning”, and gave it five stars and she wrote, “This is very informative about all things Alexa and fun to listen to. I look forward to listening after my Alexa wakes me up.”

Fantastic, Caitlin. Thanks so much for the review. And again, if anybody would like to push us over the edge of the a hundredth review, just go to VoiceinCanada.ca and click on the red button.
