Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #557

Alright, for those of you that have been following along with the developments in the automobile industry, and smart voice technology, you’ll know that I have been speaking about different types of car manufacturers that are starting to include Alexa in their cars.

Well, here’s a little bit of news that just came out, specifically about Toyota prices for the 2020 Tundra pickup. And, here’s the bottom line.

The 2020 version has an increase of $565 for the base module, and this is what you get for the extra 565 bucks.

That includes the ability of the driver to communicate with the vehicle via smartphone app.

Toyota Tundra Costs More and Includes Amazon Alexa

You get Apple Carplay, Android auto smartphone compatibility, plus the new connected services by Toyota, that includes the ability of the driver to communicate with the vehicle via a smartphone app, and that uses Google assistant and Amazon Alexa to control certain vehicle functions.

So, I’ve got a question for you around this content today.

Do you think that’s worth it? If you had the choice, would you pay the 565 bucks to have this smart technology interface between your phone and the truck?

I want to know. Send your message over to @DrTeriFisher, that’s my Twitter handle and I look forward to hearing your feedback. Alright, talk to you soon.
