Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #9
Hey everyone, welcome to the flash briefing on this Tuesday and if you’ve been listening since last week, you know that Tuesday is a big day for Alexa in Canada because this is the day that our podcasts come out and so you can reach our podcasts @AlexainCanada.ca/Podcast or ,of course, iTunes or any other major podcast players or on AnyPod as we talked about yesterday.
So today we have a special guest on the podcast with me, Dave Jackson. He has a website called the Art of Podcasting where he talks about podcasting and he teaches people how to podcast.
But today we talked specifically about one of his podcasts, which is called Alexa Cast, and this is basically him documenting his experience initially as a brand new user of an Alexa device and teaching us a little bit about what he has gone through in terms of getting the most out of Alexa.
What he has done to enable certain skills and learn about different commands and basically his experience of what it’s been like to get to know Alexa and have her help him live a more efficient, more entertaining life.

So it’s a great interview, we’ve got lots of insights from Dave in terms of things that Alexa could do, maybe some challenges that he had, but ultimately it’s a great interview about things that Alexa can do.
One interesting thing is that he is in the United States, so we get a perspective from somebody in the United States who is going through or who has gone through something similar to what I’m going through here in Canada in terms of trying to learn what Alexa can do for us.
