Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #460
Hello, it’s Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing for May 24th. And, the first thing I need to do is, I need to correct something that I said yesterday, and I want to give a shout out to Dennis and to Michael for emailing me and letting me know.
Yesterday I talked about the Fire 7 tablet and I said that it is now available with Alexa, and it would be a great substitute for an Amazon Show. The thing is, that’s all true. It’s coming out in Canada except that the Alexa features for the tablet are not available in Canada.
So, I was really excited about this, and I reported this incorrectly. So I want to correct that for the record.
So I apologize for that. Now, having said that, today I want to tell you about some deals that I did discover and these certainly are compatible with Alexa, because I have this device and I know it is, the Fire TV sticks, which you can plug into your TV, which will allow you to control your TV and your apps, things such as Netflix and so on, by voice.
These are certainly available in Canada and certainly, have Alexa. You can actually get them on sale right now. So I wanted to bring this to your attention.
If you are looking for a way to bring Alexa to your big screen, this may be just your ticket.
You can get the Fire TV stick, which is normally 50 bucks. You can get it for $40. And you can also get the Fire TV stick 4K, the high definition one with the Alexa voice remote as well.
This was normally $70, $69.99 and you can get it for $54.99, so $15 off. This is the one I have. It’s fantastic. So, if you are looking for a way to bring Alexa to your big screen, this may be just your ticket.

2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
