Hey there, happy Tuesday and you know what Tuesday means here with Voice in Canada.
It’s the podcast, podcast day and today for change, actually I’m doing a solo podcast.
I don’t have a guest with me, but I thought it would be a great opportunity to actually talk about where we’ve come with our community, our Alexa in Canada community over the past six months.
It’s now been, believe it or not, six months since Alexa was launched in Canada, very, very exciting, so much has happened in six months.
It’s actually mind boggling when I sat down and thought about this and looked at things that we’ve done with our development of the website, development of the podcast, development of this flash briefing, skill reviews, tutorials, commands, social media profiles, the Facebook community.
There’s so much that has been happening and I really want to thank you all the listeners for making this community what it is.
It’s now been, believe it or not, six months since Alexa was launched in Canada.
So in the podcast today, I talk about that stuff in addition to just what Amazon itself has accomplished over the last six months in Canada and I talk about some of the highlights.
Things that have happened with Alexa, things that they have released, some key features that have been improved in Canada and just basically the evolution of the experience with Alexa in Canada.
Please check it out. I think you’ll really enjoy it and hopefully you’ll be presently surprised at while, you know, as Canadians there sometimes frustrated with what happens here versus the States when products are released.
Like I said, I hope you’ll be pleasantly surprised that a lot has happened here in the last six months and it’s just the beginning and so I keep reminding myself that, and I hope that you’ll remember that and the future’s looking really, really bright for Alexa and for the Alexa in Canada community.
