Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #43

Well here we are Easter Monday. Hope you’re having a great Easter weekend. If you have the day off today then I hope you are enjoying to keep things along with the theme of entertainment and enjoyment and relaxation.

I thought I would tell you about one more command today that you will certainly have some fun with Alexa.

Now, I previously talked about the fact that Alexa can tell you a story if you ask her to tell you a story.

But what you may or may not know is that Alexa can actually sing to you as well. And this isn’t just the sort of robotic sounding voice that she has.

This is actually recorded songs that have been sung by somebody, by a professional recorder and they’re pretty good I think.

So what you do is you just simply say to Alexa, “Alexa, sing a song to me” or “Alexa, can you sing to me?”

Alexa can actually sing to you as well.

Sing to Me

And she will sing. And again she’s got a repertoire so it’s not just one song.

She has got a song that, I mean, I don’t know the names of the songs, but one of them part of the lyrics are “This is a love song”.

So it’s entertaining and there’s another one which is my personal favorite, where some of the words are “My WiFi left me and it’s raining in the cloud”.

So it’s pretty good and there’s certainly a sense of humor for whoever wrote these songs.

It’s pretty good. So enjoy that. Get Alexa to sing to you, do it a couple times, check out repertoire and I think you’ll enjoy the songs.

We’re going to hit one more review today and I hope I say this name right. It’s from Latin Jacoby and it says, “Highly recommended this skill for all the beginner Alexa users based in Canada to help them get the most out of their device”.

Thanks so much, again I appreciate it and keep them coming. Hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend and I will talk to you again tomorrow with the release of the next podcast.
