Hey there and happy June 12th it’s a Tuesday and so it’s time to tell you about today’s podcast.

So today’s podcast, episode number 30 of course you can find it @AlexainCanada.ca/30 I’ve got another really great guests.

This is Kesha Williams and she’s quickly making a huge name for herself in the, Voice technology space. She is a software engineer.

She’s a mentor. She’s a professor, she’s a speaker. She’s actually given a Ted talk and she’s actually going to be the keynote speaker at the Alexa conference coming up in January, 2019.

We talked a little bit about the science behind the technology of voice.

Anyway, it was a real pleasure to have her on the podcast. We talked about how she got started in voice technology.

We talked about what she’s doing now. We talked about her experience in teaching skills.

We talked a little bit about the science behind the technology of voice. Things like AI, machine learning, a language, natural language understanding, and we talk a little bit about how she uses Alexa in her family.

And finally, we also talk a little bit about her passion for promoting stem, science, technology, engineering and mathematics, particularly in young girls and women, which is quite remarkable.

Kesha does a lot of volunteer work in this area, so it’s a fantastic podcast. She really is quite an amazing woman, and check it out. I think you’ll really, really enjoy it. AlexainCanada.ca/30.
