Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #432
Hello, I hope you’re having a fantastic day. It’s Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing. And today I want to tell you about a feature that you may or may not be familiar with, and that is a skill card. So what is a skill card?
Well, when you activate your skills on Alexa, or even talk to her for that matter, if you open up your mobile phone to your Alexa app, you will see that there is some information on your phone based on what you were having a discussion about with Alexa at the time.
So if you open a skill, you may see that there is a skill card. If you’re playing a game, you may see that it actually shows the score of the game. And if you are listening to this flash briefing, for example, you will notice that there’s actually a link on that skill card.
So this is really cool. One of the really neat benefits of a flash briefing is in addition to sharing your message, you can actually direct your audience to a link if that is going to provide value to them.
And, today I want you to just have a look at that. There is a skill card that is on your mobile phone as a result of listening to this very flash briefing.
You can actually direct your audience to a link if that is going to provide value to them.

And the link that I’ve put in there today, is actually a link that takes you to the website where you can leave a review. See, how simple is that? If you’ve been listening to this, you know that I really appreciate all the reviews for the flash briefing.
And today, I want to give a shout out to the latest person that left a review, and that is, David Dickinson. He left me a five-star review. So thank you very much, David. He writes, “Alexa updates. Great briefing. One of my favorite go-to programs.” So thanks so much, David.
And like I always say, if I could just give you a shout out here, that’s the least I can do to really thank you for taking the time and the effort to leave a review. So getting back to the topic at hand, if you want to try out the skill card, just pick up your mobile phone, open up your Alexa app.
You will see the card right now for this because you’re listening to the flash briefing, and you simply click on that link, and it is that simple. It will take you to a short little form, you fill it out and you could leave a review for this flash briefing if you’re so inclined.
If you do, hey, thanks very much. Alright, have a great day. I will talk to you again tomorrow.
