Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #358

Hey there. So this is a really, really fun week for me and I hope that you will join in the festivities as well. I am actually traveling to Orlando today, to be part of the HIMSS Conference. HIMSS stands for the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.

Sounds kind of boring actually, to be perfectly honest, when you say the name like that, but I’m going to the HIMSS Conference, and this is one of the most premier conferences when it comes to technology and healthcare. It sounds a little more exciting, I think when I talk about it like that.

Anyway, what I wanted to tell you about is, I am participating in the Intelligent Health Pavilion where I am going to be doing live broadcasting of podcasts throughout the week, talking to people that are on the cutting edge of what they’re doing with voice technology, including Alexa, and healthcare.

And, I wanted to give you a heads up about this, because if you’re at all interested in this. This is probably the biggest health care technology conference of the year. I’ve heard estimates that there’s going to be something like 45,000 people at this thing.

And, I have the opportunity to speak at it, to moderate some panels, and I’m chairing some of the voice technology conference proceedings, and it’s going to be a fantastic event. Anyway, back to the live broadcast. I’m going to be live broadcasting podcasts throughout the week.

The best way to stay informed of what’s going on is to follow me through Twitter at @DrTeriFisher and also at VoiceFirstHealth.com/Live

I’m going to the HIMSS Conference, and this is one of the most premier conferences when it comes to technology and healthcare.

And that will be a place where you can actually log in and listen to live interviews. So I hope you’ll join in. If you’re at all interested in what’s going on with voice technology, Alexa and healthcare, this will be a way for you to at least, you know, get a taste of what’s going on at HIMSS.

Now, as usual, I want to give a shout out to the latest person that left me a review for this flash briefing. Again, I’ve said it before, the reviews continue to pour in. It’s so great to see. I appreciate them all, each and every one of them, so very much. Today’s shout out goes to Dennis Froude.

I’m not sure how to say that last name. I’m very sorry, Dennis, and he gives this five stars, and he writes, “Love listening to your flash briefing every morning as part of my routine. I’ve learned so much about Alexa from you, and I think it is the best way to keep up with any changes. Thank you”

Well, Dennis, thank you, very, very, very much. I can’t thank you enough, and it’s continuing to help the flash briefing to be found, so thanks very much. And I’ve got, oh boy, a bunch more that I’m going to get through over the next couple of days.

So, tune into the live broadcast, VoiceFirstHealth.com, and tomorrow we’ve got a really, really sweet, and I emphasize the word “sweet”, podcast for you, Tune in. Talk to you then.
