Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #206
Hey there. So, I have a big announcement today. And this is one of these flash briefings where I just want to express my appreciation to you, the listeners and for your support, not only in the flash briefing but also on the blog, and particularly for today, on the Facebook community page.
As you may know, I do have a Facebook community page and it’s called the Alexa in Canada Community Group. And, here’s the big news, is that, since I started this, people have been steadily joining the group and hopefully they’re getting a lot of value out of it. And, we have now reached 1,000 members in that group.
And, that’s just remarkable, and I want to thank all of you. I also really want to thank those of you that are in the group that are helping to answer some of the questions from people that are posing these questions, particularly the new people that are coming in.
They’re new with their Alexa devices and their Echo devices, and we have now such a vibrant, engaging community where lots of people are answering questions and helping each other out and I just love seeing that. It’s really wonderful and that was really the purpose of starting this community.
People have been steadily joining the group and hopefully they’re getting a lot of value out of it.
So, if you’re a Canadian or you live outside of Canada, but you have an interest in what’s going on in Canada and you want to join our group, then by all means, please do so. You can find the link, the direct link is AlexainCanada.ca/Community, and that will take you directly to the group.
Please keep in mind it’s not a place to spam the group or to do self-promotion. This is really about helping each other out and growing the community. And by and large, that is exactly what it has been.

1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
