Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #227
Hello, so today I want to tell you about the latest product that has been released from Amazon into Canada, and that is, of course, the Echo Show. Finally, it is officially in Canada.
I know we Canadians have been waiting a long time for this, and some people have gotten the Echo Show from the United States, but with the release of the 2nd generation of the Echo show that Amazon announced just probably about a week and a half ago now.
It is here officially in Canada. And I want to tell you just a little bit about it. First of all, as you may know, it is available for pre-order right now. And, it will be released officially on October 11th. So, just over a week.
And, a couple of neat things about the new Echo Show 2nd Generation. First of all, probably the biggest change from the from the last one is the design and the size of the screen.
The screen has now been bumped up from approximately 7 inches to 10.1 inches.
Don’t bother buying an Echo Plus just for the smart home hub, if you’re going to get an Echo Show, because an Echo Show already has this smart home hub built in.
It’s got a high definition screen, which is great for watching videos and any type of visual content that is associated with any of the Alexa skills that you’re using. The show has a built-in smart home hub.
This one comes in the darker charcoal color and the lighter sandstone color. Now, for the pricing of the Echo Show, the Echo Show is listed at CAD 299.99. They do have an option to get it with a free smart bulb for the same price.
So essentially you’re saving about $20 worth because that’s what the smart bulb would cost on its own. However, if you are serious about the Echo Show and you want to pick up a pair of them, you can actually buy two of them, and then you will get $125 off.
So, it’s almost getting a second one at 50 percent off. So that’s, I mean, that is a good deal if you’re looking for two Echo Shows, they’re not cheap products by any means$, 300 each. You get two of them and you get to save $125. So, feel free to check it out.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
