Hey there. Here’s some Canadian content for you today, particularly if you live in Alberta or the Edmonton region or even more specifically in Leduc. So, as you may know, Amazon currently has fulfillment centers in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario.
So the fulfillment centers are the places where they ship and package and send products out to Canadians. Well, you may be aware that Amazon has been expanding rapidly and they’re putting more fulfillment centers in various places.
Well, the latest news, they just announced that they are going to be putting a new fulfillment center in the Edmonton region in Leduc specifically and by 2020 they will have created more than 600 full-time jobs to support this 1 million square foot fulfillment facility.
Amazon continues to develop in Canada and I think that’s great because it’s going to be quicker shipping, quicker access to your favorite Alexa devices and so on, across Canada
So, pretty impressive. Of course, this is going to only mean positive things for the economy in the area. And, if you are in that area, you’re interested in working there, then, you know, it’s just a matter of time until Amazon is looking for people to be part of this new project. There you go.
