Hey there, hope you’re doing well. So here’s some more news out of Amazon. This one isn’t specific to Canada, but it’s just such an interesting story that I really want to share it with you and that is that Amazon has just announced that they have invested money in a company known as Plant Prefab, and this is a company, it’s a California home design and prefabrication company.

And, Amazon is investing in this company because they are basically creating voice controlled prefabricated homes with Alexa built in, incredible. And, I find this fascinating for a number of reasons, but the main one is that Amazon is now investing in a company that makes homes.

And if Amazon has a goal to get Alexa everywhere, then what better way of doing that, than having an investment in a company that is creating the place where we live and when you move into these homes Alexa is already there ready to welcome you.

And, this is a very, very interesting move. Now, the funding from Amazon that is going into this company is from the Amazon Alexa Fund, and that’s another very interesting aspect to this, is that Amazon has often then bought out the companies that they have invested in.

And if Amazon has a goal to get Alexa everywhere, then what better way of doing that, than having an investment in a company that is creating the place where we live and when you move into these homes Alexa is already there ready to welcome you.

Now, I don’t know if that is what Amazon has on the agenda for this company, but it certainly is interesting and could you imagine if Amazon then got into the business of building homes, and then they built their homes obviously with Alexa built in.

This has got a whole bunch of interesting storylines from a number of different perspectives. Anyway, I thought it was a very interesting story and, it won’t be long before we’re seeing prefabricated homes with Alexa built in, ready to welcome you when you move in.
