Alright, so this is really exciting news, particularly for our friends in Quebec, but for all French Canadians. Amazon has recently come out and said officially that you can now develop skills that are using the Canadian French language model.
And I got a notification from Amazon and I’ll just read you the notification that I got here, and it says, “We’re excited to announce that developers can start building skills for French Canadian customers using the Alexa skills kit with the Canadian French voice model.
Skills that developers create now will be available for customers when Alexa launches in Canada with Canadian French language support later this year” So, there is now something that we have in writing from Amazon.
The skilled developers can officially start creating their skills targeted to French Canadian speakers using the particular language model. And, we know that the Canadian French language model is going to be released to customers later this year, and there’s only a couple of months left in this year.

So, you can take your guess. I imagine there’s going to be a big, big push for this, before the holiday season so that there’s that market that Amazon can take advantage of. So this is really, really exciting.
I know people have been wondering about the Canadian French language model. I know some people have already had the opportunity to test it out as part of a beta group, and that’s really exciting too.
So, we’re moving forward and it shouldn’t be long before it’s officially here in Canada. So, I think that’s it for now. Bonjour.
