Hey there and welcome to your flash briefing for November 9th; number 264. Wow, 264. That’s mind-blowing to me. Alright, so, today I’ve got a good little tip for you, a new feature that has just been released, and this all has to do with routines. So if you set up Alexa to have a routine for your day where maybe she tells you the weather, maybe she gives you a sports update, and she goes through your flash briefings. Maybe even this one is part of your routine; if you’ve got your flash briefings as part of your routine. But anyway, here’s the new deal.

You can now have calendar features as part of your routine. So, very simple, you go into your routines by clicking on the little hamburger icon, click on routines, and then you’re gonna set up a new routine. And when you do that, you now have a new option under add action. When you click on add action, you now have the calendar and when you click on calendar, you have the option of adding today’s calendar.

So of course, Alexa will recite today’s calendar, what’s on your calendar for the day. You can have tomorrow’s calendar, or you can have, simply the next event. And so, you can set up different routines if you want to find out different elements of your calendar, at different times of the day. So, I think this is a great feature. It’s amazing, the routines are getting more and more functional.

They are becoming more and more user-friendly, and they’re just, they’re making our lives easier. So now I’ve got my routine set up in addition to everything I had. I’ve also gotten my daily calendar, uh, and, and Alexie tells me what’s up for the day. So it’s great. Check it out, hope you enjoy it. And I think it’s a great new feature.
