Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #874

Hey there, Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing for Saturdays.

Saturdays are fun because we talk about different commands and things that you can say to Alexa.

So let’s get right to it, here’s a practical one, you can actually set a repeating alarm by voice, by simply just saying those words.

You can say, “Alexa set a repeating alarm” and she will ask you what time, et cetera and she can help you to set that up, so that’s a pretty practical one.

There are lots of fart skills where you can get Alexa to fart.

On the other hand, the ones that may or may not be so practical would be this one, “Alexa, what’s your favorite vegetable”.

And this one you may know, I think I may have talked about this before that there are lots of fart skills where you can get Alexa to fart by enabling some skills.

But did you know that without enabling a skill, you can just simply say, “Alexa, fart” and she will have a response for that.

So feel free to try that one out, you may be actually surprised by her response to that one, it’s actually quite funny.

I think that’s it for today, so I hope you’re having a wonderful start to your weekend and I’ll talk to you again tomorrow, take care.
